IMPORTANT UPDATE: Your art classes are moving.
Hello creative friend, I hope all is well with you.
I’m writing to share some important updates about my online classes going forward. You are receiving this because you are registered for a class on my learning portal at artclasses.louisegale.com
As many of you know, I’ve been hosting my classes on Teachable since 2020. Then in July of this year, Teachable very suddenly announced a change in their pricing structure which means a huge price increase for me.
This update from Teachable would have forced me to raise the price of my classes, which is something I am not happy doing, so this new update made me think very deeply about the future of these classes!
After lots of reflecting on this and researching other solutions, I have made the big decision to move everything over to a platform called Payhip.
Your learning experience inside the platform and classes seems almost identical to Teachable and I hope this move means I can continue to host your classes for years to come.
While this wasn’t in my schedule or plan, I have been working on moving over all of my course content and plan to do this well before November 16 (which is when my Teachable subscription is up)
Key Dates and What happens next?

You don’t need to do anything right now- please just keep an eye on your inbox towards the end of October.
- Between Nov 1-10, I will be doing the final migration related to the learning platform web address, so effectively this may mean that my online learning portal at artclasses.louisegale.com will be down at intervals during this 10 day period.
- You’ll still be able to log in and access your classes using artclasses.louisegale.com on Teachable until October 31. If you plan on working on any of the classes you are registered for between Nov 1-10, please download the videos and content to work through offline.
- Starting November 10, you’ll start receiving emails inviting you to join the new platform.
- These invites will begin to give you access to all the classes you've registered for with me and I will migrate everyone over by class starting with the bundles first.
- This means that the first email you receive from me will need you to create a brand new account on the Payhip platform giving you access to your first class or bundle. After that, you will receive a special link to click on to add each class you have previously registered for. (this may change if I can bulk regsiter everyone - tbc)
- This first phase is focused on getting your existing classes/access safely transferred and hosted before my subscription to Teachable ends on November 15 and then I’ll be working on anything that needs tweaking or improvement.
- After that, all classes and student access will be hosted exclusively on Payhip using my artclasses.louisegale.com web address.
Over this transition period, I will be doing everything I can to make this as smooth as possible, and I’m here to support you and help as I get this completed. I really appreciate your understanding and patience during this migration!
